Patricia M. Boatwright, M.D., FACOG

Dr. Boatwright is a board certified obstetrician and gynecologist and a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She completed her undergraduate work in psychobiology and one year of graduate education in cell biology at UCLA. She then studied medicine and completed her medical school program and residency program at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, class of 1985. She served as assistant professor of Ob/Gyn at Rush University Medical Center for three years before starting a solo private practice in 1988. She continued as a private practitioner, senior gynecologist, and educator at Rush for over 34 years. She also practiced at Michael Reese Medical Center and Mercy Medical Center both in the city of Chicago for several years. She earned the teaching award at these institutions over 12 times and today continues to educate residents in obstetrics and gynecology at Weiss-Pipeline Medical Center and Christ Advocate Hospital. She has been named Castle Connolly Top Doctor from Chicago Magazine Women's Health and Exceptional Women in Medicine, multiple times. In her free time she plays with her 4 german rottweilers and can be seen on the streets of Chicago driving a 1800cc Harley motorcycle.
